Shekinah [real name – Taiwo Iyere Osiname] is a native of Edo State in Nigeria, born in the early 80‘s to a strong Christian family; the name, “Shekinah [glory of God’s presence],” was given to her some years back after a great encounter with the Lord. She has been singing from a very tender age with her twin and has been privileged to lead various choirs from her teenage years; she also served as the music director of Lagos Varsity Christian Union [L.V.C.U] Unilag, NCCF, Imo State. Presently, she is actively involved with her church choir alongside her husband at the Triumphant Word Christian Center Lagos, Nigeria; Shekinah is a graduate of Accounting from the University of Lagos and currently works with one of the leading aviation companies in Nigeria – she is happily married and blessed with 2 kids.
