Kahli Abdu & Make/Believe – FOREVER AND EVER

“A.R.T Project [Alternate Rap Tunes]” is a collaboration between Kahli Abdu and production duo, Make/Believe, set to release this summer; the group’s debut single, “Forever and Ever“, premiered recently on OkayAfrica [run by ?uestlove of The Roots], which called the song “an ideal summertime pop lullaby.“

A native of Jos, Nigeria, Kahli Abdu has released several projects showcasing his rapping and singing abilities; Make/Believe consists of David Muehlenkamp and Will Whitney, 2 producers and members of indie Pop band, Sweatpants [formerly Basement Batman].

The Brooklyn, NY-based trio describe their collective sound as a sort of “new Fuggees” based on it’s mixture of Hip-Hop, Soul and Afro music; “Forever and Ever” draws heavily from the upbeat, guitar-based African music genre Highlife. | ENJOY!!!
