THE INAUGURAL AFRICAN GLOBAL DJ AWARDS POSTPONED TO JULY 13TH, 2013

The maiden edition of the African Global DJ Awards billed to hold on May 4th, 2013 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa has been postponed to July 13th, 2013 due to technical difficulties.

Spokesperson for the awards Olutokun “Kimani” Esther confirmed that the producers of the awards met with the venue officials and have agreed to postpone the date of the ceremony, from the initially announced May 4th, 2013 to July 13th, 2013.

The AGDA Awards was instituted to recognize and celebrate the talent of the greatest DJ’s in Africa and in diaspora, and as such the planned production of the awards ceremony is of international figure.

The executive producers of the show would like to thank everyone that bought into the idea of uniting Africans through music for the unwavering support and promises to deliver an exceptional award ceremony come July 13th, 2013.
