“Rapture” is definitely the poster boy for a “Grass to Grace” story. His life has definitely not been a bed of roses but he was able to rise above it all to the status he is at today. His mother solely took care of him after his father left. He later got admitted into the University of Port-Harcourt to study Biology but left in his final year due to financial difficulties and love for his music. The state of his life started to improve when he met the CEO of “Luciano Records“, “Don Luciano“.
Rapture‘s first break into the music industry came in 2000 when he released his first single “True Love“; this was followed in 2002 by another single “Na Me Be Rapture“. Next was another single in 2007, “Thank You Ma Grand Mama” in memory of his loving grandmother. The unfortunate twist to this tale was the death of his mother in 2010. Getting past this, “Rapture” released the remix to “Na Me Be Rapture” featuring “Mr. Raw Nwanne“.
Here is the video for his “Jesus Igwe” and “Rapture remix” which features “Mr. Raw Nwanne“. His music is a sweet cultural tune which carries a strong message. Watch out for recent collaboration with top stars such as “Wizkid“, “Timaya“, “Wizboy” and many more soon. | ENJOY!!!
