Contemporary female Nigerian Afro-Solk artiste, Ewa Cole, is set to release her debut EP titled “Queen of Afro Solk (QOAS),” a body of work which comprises up-tempo and mid-tempo songs inspired by the rich culture and diversity of African music; on “QOAS,” the Dezbilly Entertainment recording artiste defines Afro-Solk as she serves a rich blend of Soul, R&B and Afro-Fusion, all laced in the English language, likewise, her mother-tongue, the Yoruba language.
The eight track project features several interesting high-points, including an attention-grabbing introductory number in “Call“; with a stellar delivery on “Kana,” and an amazing dance vibe on “Gbese,” we have to ourselves a smooth, diverse and versatile project – although her debut, “QOAS” is lyrically rich, and thanks to talented producers Lush Beat, Teezsmart, and Tayoristar – Ewa Cole’s penchant for up and mid-tempo records shines brilliantly through in this project. | ENJOY!!!
