Aina More – AFRIKAN LADY (prod. by Benie Macaulay)

Following up to a Live Tour in Lagos, Nigeria, which included Ms. More opening for Ms. Lauryn Hill, Aina More hits fans with a new Afro-House/Rap single titled “Afrikan Lady,” accompanied by a Nubian Queen-themed artwork; the images shot in Lagos, Nigeria, by TCD where taken on a recently embarked trip when Aina More performed Live with the 13-piece Bantu band at the 27th Edition of Afropolitan Vibes – looks where inspired and styled by UK-bred Nigerian stylist/designer, Kitschai.

Aina More commented that,

“‘Afrikan Lady‘ is a very straight-forward song about who I am as an African woman; in this case (the images), I chose to embrace my melanin as I believe it’s one of the things that heavily account for who I am and I consider it to be true wealth. African women today are a variety of many things and I didn’t want to portray just the traditional African woman in these images or on the song; the song overall? – well, this is another one for my women!”
