Chocolate City’s new signee, Koker, is out with a new song titled “Do Something“; after appearing on M.I’s “Chairman” album on the track “Rich,” Koker is solo in a grand Fuji style on “Do Something,” as produced by Reinhard and L3 – the track appears on the “The Indestructible Choc Boi Nation” album. Koker‘s 1st contact with Chocolate City was at LAMP House Studios where he recorded his hook for his feature on Pryse’s hit single, “Eleto” in 2013; members of the Chocolate City crew then became familiar with his content and then went on to become fans of his music and in due time, he got a call from the label’s administration and the rest as they say, is history. He is largely known for the uniqueness of the use of his local dialect, Yoruba, in his music and as we have it, Chocolate City Music Group brings you the visuals for this tune; the song has caught the eye of the industry, setting him up to be one of the top new acts out there. A graduateof the University of Lagos from the department of Creative Arts, Koker has previously recorded 4 songs for the Eko Sports Festival at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos Island; he also recorded and performed the official theme song of the UNILAG at 50 carnival in 2012.
This video is directed by Mex, who has delivered award-winning videos over the years; it has an Owanmbe setting with cameos from M.I, the Choc Boi Nation (CBN), former Choc City C.E.O, Audu Maikori, Emma OhMyGod, TMXO and many others. Watch the video and get to see Koker give you a new-age Shina Peter feel; he is definitely one to look out for in the future. | ENJOY!!!
