Veteran Afro-Centric songstress, Nnena Omali, emerges this year with a new single, “My Shakara“; after releasing the well-loved “Kulie Dide,” which featured 9ice, Nnena once again presents another unique Afro-Philosophical piece laden with a message of love with her usual story-telling panache.

Nnena Omali is not your everyday musician; her talent is unquestionably among the rare kind as she always creates sounds and melodies that are not in the usual sphere. This World Fusion musician has carved a niche for herself such that whatever she brings to the table is always of substance and quality; simply, “My Shakara” is a narration of a woman in how she played hard-to-get in order to ‘test‘ if the love of her suitor (now her man) was true.
