Aristokrat Records rapper, Mojeed, has been generating quite the buzz on social media and online blogs lately on the Nigeria Afro/Hip-Hop scene; from the release of his mix-tape, “Westernized West-African,” to several standout appearances and performances, it seems that the rapper is turning heads and garnering fans everywhere he goes. Mojeed has now released visuals for “Jagaban,” a single off his critically acclaimed mix-tape; the mix-tape was released on July 28th, 2014 via Aristokrat Records/960 Music Group. In an interview, he mentioned he was amazed by how quickly the song became a fan favorite, and that inspired him to shoot a video for it; the video is set around the historic Tafawa Balewa Square in the heart of Lagos Island where the title “Jagaban” was made popular. The name now stands as a representation of wealth and success; Mojeed has also mentioned he will be on tour in the coming weeks, visiting the capital city, Abuja. | ENJOY!!!
