New upcoming artiste, Coco Benson, finally reveals her debut single and music video worldwide for the offering titled “They Call Me Coco.” Coco‘s music is reflective of her multi-cultural upbringing; she is a West African [Nigeria/Ghana] / European [Switzerland] by descent and recently returned to Nigeria having studied in the US. Coco Benson is the grand-daughter of the late famous Highlife musician, Bobby Benson [Taxi Driver].

“They Call Me Coco“, as produced by Ikon [Syndik8 Records] is a unique blend of Afro instruments mixed with a smooth House music tempo; the song is catchy, up-beat and most definitely tells the audience repetitively that Coco is on the track – “They Call Me Coco, Oh! you don’t know me.?“

Coco Benson started singing at the age of 10 and it was only a matter of time before the new singer was ready to continue in the spotlight and foot-steps of her grandfather; she is one of a kind and her single, “They Call Me Coco” is the 1st of it’s kind in the Lagos music market.
