I had to honour that annual call…
And did I place through to you a call?

Do I not remember
Had it not been lies? But to me, I was true
And had I not tried to see things through?

Could I not decipher
Broken promises, I didn’t get you stuffs
If horses were wishes; I didn’t ride enough
But you said, “I’ve got to be with another.“

Did your friends not tell ya?
He’s no good, just let go…
He’s too young, love ain’t sex strength though
But you said, “I’ve got to be with another.“

For had I not told no other
That did I not have nightmares of dust to dust
Did I not dream of you, me and us
But you said, “I’ve got to be with another.“

And if I do remember
Had I not graced that event to you tattered?
Yet! Ye knew not how much my life was shattered
But you said, “I’ve got to be with another.“

Strings pulled; lead man of ember
And I screamed – “Save Me“, like it’s member
Beautiful melodies but you didn’t “Know Me“
But you said, “I’ve got to be with another.“
