Kris Klef – TRY [prod. by Magik]

Kris Klef [real name – Christian Edache Ogbeba] is a songwriter, singer and recording artiste with prowess in Neo-Soul, Pop and R&B music; he is of Nigerian origin and got nick-named Kris Klef because he grew up playing around musical instruments especially the guitar [Klef is another word for music notes]. The name Kris Klef later in 2010 was registered as an international trademark in entertainment.

His musical journey began in 1998 in a high school group, and though it was amateur, he enjoyed several stage opportunities especially Gospel concerts; it was during these growing years that he learnt to play rhythms with the acoustic guitar. He holds a B.Eng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

“Try”, as a single, is an expression of a deep philosophy as touching the lives of average young people; the song points out the power of self-esteem as a vital weapon in every achiever’s armory.
