The singer, song-writer and instrumentalist is a maverick in the dance-hall music world. He defies any easy pigeon-hole. By turns, he sings a witty song about modern life, plays a sweet high-life melody on the dance-hall rhythm, swings a hot hook, and then reaches deep for a soulful expression of values in a troubled world, all skillfully blended into a seamless flow. Fountain [real name – Kingsley Chikodi] is a dance-hall artiste based in Lagos Nigeria, a graduate of Theatre and Communication Arts [University Of Jos]. Also known for his afro-centric fusion to dance-hall, he has worked with A-rated artistes and producers in Africa, the likes of RyMzo, M.I, E-Kelly, Exell, Jordan King and Indomix. The cute looking singer is ready to launch himself on the world stage with his double singles titled “Imara Na?” and “No Lies“; both tracks were produced by one of the best producers in Nigeria, E-Kelly.

Fountain, who recently signed a management deal with world known and Houston-based DJ MixMasterBrown [MMB], is set to make a musical statement. “It’s not just a wealth of musical styles or his smooth and expressive voice that have made him such a fine artiste, he can be witty and funny at times“. | ENJOY!!!
