Detroit based DJ Blakito, was born and raised in Lagos – Nigeria, where he grew up developing an affinity for beats and tunes and also earned the name “Blakito” from his friends because of the color of his skin.

DJ Blakito took his love for beats and tunes a notch higher by taking after some notable Djs like Dj K-boog, Dj Dee Money and Dj MightyMike as he also started deejaying. He released “Heavy Gbedu” Part 1 and 2 [mixed and arranged by himself] and the people loved it. He’s back with “Heavy Gbedu 3” now.
