Braimah John-Paul Amana was born into the Braimah family on October 12, 1989 as the last of nine [9] children and hails from Kogi State. Better known as Jaypee Swagnificent, he is an upcoming Nigerian rapper and song writer signed to the record label YBMH Entertainment, with his mix-tape titled “SWAGNIFICENT” scheduled to drop in the 3rd quarter of 2012. “The Mayor of Swagville” un-matchlessly known for his style and his humorous but psyched out punchlines as he reigns on the beat can only be described as a versatile joint killer, influenced by the likes of J.Cole, Lil’ Wayne, Rick Ross, NasDr. Dre, Eminem, Wiz Khalifa and Kendrick Lamar.

The love for music in the Braimah family knows no bounds with Mr. Braimah [Jays’ dad], playing  the Keyboard in church and his sister [Glowreeyah] as a Nigerian gospel artist. In this same light, Jaypee started rapping way back in his high school days where he formed the rap group called “The Intruders” and would battle other groups in rap battles in Federal Government Boys College, Abuja which was were he finished his secondary education. With an ambition to own his own record label and launching his clothing line, the “Mayor of Swagville” continues to astound his fans and audience with his swagnificent style and punch lines that appeal to a wide range of listeners ranging from, rap, hip hop to alternative hip hop.

You Know Everything” is slang which most people say but made popular by him  meaning not talking much because you know things go down; it’s also a wonderful rap song in which he features YBMH Music Group crew member Yung Slick and the 2nd single titled “Make you Mine” is a rap love song which he narrates what he will do to make this girl his. Both produced by P-Mo on da console, an Abuja-based super producer. | ENJOY!!!
