B-Jive is a young upcoming Nigerian artiste straight from the streets of Mushin [just like Wande Coal].

B-Jive [real name – Alakija Mobolaji Babatunde] is a Lagos-bred hip-hop artiste and a graduate of Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University. It’s ironic that he prefers alphabets to figures, hence his decision to go into rap music professionally in 2010. He grew up listening to a variation of genres, but as a kid, Michael Jackson was a big inspiration to him. Some of his other influences include Lil’ Wayne, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, and Nas. This game changer was raised by his grandmother, and has loved music and dance since he was a child.

B-Jive is currently working on a mix-tape which he hopes to release in June 2013, and he has worked with Tdust, Noggin and Phatjoints Entertainment. He also has future plans of working with Ghetto P and Migga. He’s definitely not here to gimmick as he drops a single titled “Gidi Rider“. | ENJOY!!!
