Victor Chujor-Idowu<\/em>, more popularly known as the Nigerian<\/em> music producer, Beats By Jayy<\/strong><\/a>, has passed away at 28; the family has announced that he passed away from health complications due to Covid-19 on November 20, 2021. Jayy<\/strong><\/a>, as he was fondly called, is a celebrated Nigerian producer known for his unique soul-sample Hip-Hop instrumentals and has worked with the likes of M.I Abaga<\/em><\/a>, A-Q<\/em><\/a>, Blaqbonez<\/em><\/a>, Illbliss<\/em><\/a>, Naeto C<\/a><\/em>, Loose Kaynon<\/a><\/em>, Cheque<\/em>, Ice Prince and many others; the last two years saw him deliver some of his best works – he produced critically acclaimed albums like A-Q<\/em><\/a>‘s “God’s Engineering<\/em>” and “Golden<\/em>,” M.I Abaga<\/em><\/a> and A-Q<\/em><\/a>‘s “The Live Report<\/em>,” Loose Kaynon<\/a><\/em>‘s “Survivor’s Remorse<\/em>” and contributed to Blaqbonez<\/em><\/a>‘s “Sex Over Love<\/em>.”<\/p>\n

Jayy<\/strong><\/a> also released his own music under the moniker, Big Daddy Jayy<\/em>, delivering three projects, “Replay Value<\/em>,” “Road To Jayynius<\/em>” and his most recent, “Jayynius<\/em>.” His humble beginnings started in the suburbs of Surulere<\/em>, Lagos<\/em> where he honed his skills in sampling, beat-making, music production and vocal delivery.
