From winning the\u00a0Artiste Of The Year<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0award which was one of the numerous categories at the FUTMINNA S.U.G Awards<\/strong><\/em> [Federal University of Technology, Minna<\/em>], ZayDex<\/strong> [real name – Ishaq Ololade Saheed<\/strong><\/em>] who was born into a polygamous family of 5<\/strong> wives and 23<\/strong> children sees music as a universal language, which is understood by every race\/tribe; having information which it passes on to people, he sees it also as a means of bringing unity to people as well. His style of music is not an imitation of anyone’s and thus, by infusing the Yoruba<\/em> language alongside the English<\/em> language and following up on the R&B<\/em>\/Afro Hip-Hop<\/em> musical genre, ZayDex<\/strong> stands out from the swam.<\/p>\n

For ZayDex<\/strong>, music all started in the year 2003 as a sophomore back in the secondary school; together with Super XP<\/strong><\/em>, K-Boi<\/strong><\/em> and himself, they formed a group by the name, Holy Guiz<\/strong><\/em>. During this period, they released a single titled “Folashade<\/strong><\/em>” and a couple of others, after which K-Boi<\/strong><\/em> left the group to go solo. He continued on with Super XP<\/strong><\/em> for over a year, which saw them release a remix to their earlier-released “Folashade<\/strong><\/em>” track; for reasons accrued to distance, the group broke up but they remained as on in unity. ZayDex<\/strong> released his 1<\/strong>st single as a solo artiste in the year 2007<\/strong>, and as well shot videos for 2<\/strong> of his singles back then; the years have seen him grow as an artiste with only the best yet to come.<\/p>\n

Today, the 28<\/strong>th day of November, marks his birthday and under his new record label by the name, I-Class Entertainment<\/strong><\/em>, he releases this offering not just to celebrate his day today, but as a come-back to the music industry; produced by Mo’Core<\/strong><\/em>, he comes through with “Idilolo<\/strong>“.
