Newcomer, Ageless, Encounters His “Perfect Home.”

Bob Marley once said, “one good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain” – these words, clearly etched into the sands of time, resonates with the sounds of Uwuige Osasikemwen Bobby, better known by his performing name, Ageless a.k.a ‘Son of a Carpenter‘ and his hammer ikon, taken from the open-and-shut conception of his father being a carpenter – the Afro-Fusion/Afro-R&B recording artiste who was birthed on the 17th of February, 1997, was born and raised in Benin city, Nigeria and as a multi-talented creative act/producer, who began writing music at the age of eight, had earlier started out performing songs at church, followed by creating a music group, FTB (Friends to Brothers). Known for their amazing and unique vocals, the now defunct group saw all members go solo whilst the year 2017 saw Ageless go through a three week production lesson, one which led to the release of his very first single, “For my Head,” back in 2018 – this number drew a lot of attention and response garnered led to the release of two more singles in the year 2019, “Medicine” and “Now or Later.” Born into a family which sees all of his siblings go on to become singers, Ageless, the last of all, has not only produced for them, but has gone on to carve a brand as a producer and promising recording artiste, one who’s blessed with quite an incredible voice.

Perfect Home” is the latest addition to his recordings, a song which had it’s titled birthed long before he had a partner (girlfriend); a song created during his lonesome days which raised questions about his sexual orientation as he got questioned – a twist of events had Ageless tell to himself, “if I can’t get a girlfriend during my university days, then I won’t get any in Nigeria, and if I did, I would make my heart her ‘Perfect Home‘.” It’s safe to say he’s found his dream girl and now, here’s “Perfect Home,” a properly rendered number which reminds music lovers and pundits alike of the words of Pablo Casals, “music is the divine way to tell beautiful, poetic things to the heart.” Listen up and share your thoughts.
