The duo of Defyne [derived from the word “definition“] started in 2006; then Shepherd [George Babatayo] started off as a beat producer and a song writer while Da$e [Emmanuel Babatayo] only wrote songs, but had to finish with school and other educationally related programs before deciding to take the bull by the horn.
They then refueled to kick off their career together as a group under the name, Defyne. In addition to the passion and affection they both have for music, they also see music as a means of reaching out and inspiring one way or the other to follow their passion.
The brothers, who graduated from the Open University UK, in Information Technology, and are currently based in Nigeria. Their debut track titled “Banging” is an easy-party starting track, easy-to-sing along lyrics and with every ingredient to be DJs’ favourite and features the hit duo, Skuki. | ENJOY!!!
