Soul E crops up 2 new singles – BABA YOU TOO MUCH + OBA

Emmanuel Okose” popularly known as Soul E is from Delta State, Nigeria. Soul E Started singing at the age of 8 and released his first album at age 21 in 2006, aptly titled “Naija Is Blessed” with a hit singleSoul E Baba Dey Here“, which went on to sell over 2 Million records across Nigeria, going on to commercial and critical acclaim and carting home numerous awards. The single “Soul E Baba Dey Here” from the album “Naija Is Blessed” topped all the music charts including MTV Base, Channel O, Ben TV London, TV 3, Sound City, and Nigezie; the song won the 1st ever “Fastest Rising Hip-Hop Artiste 2006 Personality Award” and also the first ever “Hip-Hop World Revolution Award 2007“, “Best New Act Amen Awards 2007“.

Following the tremendous success of his first album in April 2008, he released a new single titled “Esoji” which also topped numerous charts in Nigeria and across Africa. In May of the same year he released a double album titled “His Excellency 1 & 2“, which went on to sell 3.5 million records across Africa. In 2010, his single “Many Things” also topped various charts and won numerous Awards including the “Dream Stars 2010 Awards” for “The Best Song of the Year“.

Soul E is a terrific live act and also an all-round performer. Highly prolific, he was the first ever Hip-Hop Soul Singer to create a Live Performing Act around his Music. At the moment, Soul E is working on a 3 album project – a secular album titled “The Other Side of Me” with the hit single “Many Things“, a gospel album titled “The Rebirth” and finally, “The Best Of Both Worlds“, an exciting collaboration between Soul E and Fikayo.
