The month of November seems to be a month of blessing for Nigerian music lovers as some of their favorite stars would be releasing body of works which has taken them from months to years to compile; music giants like Olamide, raving sensations like Seyi Shay and buzzing artists like Burna Boy, Falz the Bahd Guy and Rap-head, T.R (formerly known as Terry the Rapman) would all be dropping their long awaited album this month – AceWorldTEAM‘s media personnel, BigDan, carefully compiles this information respectively with dates to watch out for each release.

4 years after hitting the Nigerian music scene, sultry singer Seyi Shay, is set to drop her debut album, “Seyi or Shay” this month; according to multiple sources, the singer who is signed to Island Records has revealed that the album drops on Friday, November 13, 2015. The album which is one of the most anticipated albums, features an array of stars from across Africa including Sauti Sol, Banky W and Iyanya; reports also claim that the “Right Now” singer will be having a 2016 international release of the album – in September, it was reported that Seyi Shay was sighted in the studio with London rapper, Tinnie Tempah which sparked rumors of an international collaboration.
T.R – G.O.D (Grabbing Our Destiny)
Nigerian rapper, T.R (formerly known as Terry tha Rapman) has unveiled the cover art for his long awaited EP; the new body of work titled “G.O.D (Grabbing Our Destiny),” will drop in November 2015 – the 1st single off the EP that was released in December 2014 grabbed nominations at the 2015 Headies in the Best Rap and Lyricist on the Roll categories.
Olamide – (Album title yet to be announced)
Let’s be the 1st to tell you and confirm that YBNL boss, Olamide, will be dropping a new album this year; the new album has been recorded and will be released when he returns to Nigeria from his UK tour. Sources at the YBNL camp revealed to City People that Olamide‘s album has been ready for a long time, he’s just yet to decide on a title for the album; we also gather that Olamide‘s album will be followed by Lil’ Kesh‘s debut album that’s also ready to drop any time soon. Olamide will enter the history book when his 5th album drops this year as the 1st Nigerian rapper to drop 5 albums in 5 years; his debut album, “Rapsodi,” dropped in 2011, his sophomore album, “YBNL,” was released in 2012, while his 3rd album, “Baddest Guy Ever Liveth,” followed in November 2013 and his 4th studio album, “Street OT,” dropped in November 2014 – already in 2015, Olamide has released a joint album with Phyno titled “2 Kings” and 5 singles including “Matters Arising,” “Lagos Boys,” “Bobo” and others.
Falz the Bahd Guy – STORIES THAT TOUCH
Nigerian rapper, Falz, has announced plans to release his 2nd studio album titled “Stories That Touch,” on Monday, November 16, 2015; the 27-year old rapper unveiled the album cover art for his album designed by August Udoh saying,
“it’s official; my sophomore album is titled ‘Stories That Touch‘ and will be officially released on November 16, 2015 – thanks for supporting Falz the Bahd Guy.”
His debut album, “The Wazzup Guy,” was released on May 30, 2014, with the hit tracks, “Ello Bae,” “Marry Me” and others.
If you a true Burna Boy fan, then wait for it! He announced that his sophomore album will drop in November 2015; like DavidO who has postponed the release of his sophomore album countless times this year, we do actually hope Burna Boy stays true to his November 2015 release date. The album is titled “On A Spaceship“; Burna Boy dropped a mix-tape titled “Burn Identity” in 2011 before dropping his debut album, “L.I.F.E (Leaving an Impact for Eternity)” in 2013 – come November 25, Burna Boy would once again whet the appetite of his fans and music lovers with his much anticipated album.
