In his follow up single to the critically acclaimed video and song, “Ennuff Effizzi“, Olu Maintain demonstrates that consistency is in fact the name of the game; “O.i.B [Olu In Brazil]” is set in the beautiful islands and villas of Brazil.
“While on vacation in Brazil, I thought there is no reason why I shouldn’t shoot a video in such a beautiful place; I quickly put together a team to explore the possibility, and few months later, one of the most culturally rich videos I have been a part of, was shot.“
While in Brazil, the production team from Giovannii – Vivendi responsible for the record breaking and chart topping video, “Ennuff Effizzi” shot “O.i.B [Olu In Brazil]“; it however did not feel complete. Olu Maintain had to tap on long time trusted director, DJ Tee [responsible for the “Yahooze” video] to add the authentic African flare. The combination is a beautiful dose of a diverse presentation of rich culture and colour. The project wouldn’t be completed and wouldn’t be Mr. NAWTi, if it didn’t carry a patriotic message; this video was retooled to serve as a cheer-leading song for our National soccer team representing our great nation on the world stage during the world cup in Brazil.
