DIARY OF A SAD BLACK WOMAN

I swear it hurts.

The pain I feel inside, the tears I cry, the smiles are lies and happiness hard to find. One minute a step close to my dreams, the next minute back to square 1. Suddenly I think the sun is back to shine on me, then to my shock, a heavy rain hits me and floods my heart. After the rain, the fire of hurt then consumes me. I’m tired of being judged and seen as the one who always gets it wrong. I wanna be free. I don’t wanna cry anymore, hurt myself anymore.

I wish my mind could be read so you’d see the pain inside. I just hope one day people could see who I really am. All I want is to be heard. I don’t wanna be locked always, imprisoned by misery.

Is this too much to ask?
