Sunday “Atnadu” Bawa is a Gospel and inspirational singer/songwriter, born 26th of September 1982 in Minna – Niger State. He grew up around musical influences like Silas Iyakwo, Emmanuel “dacapo” Edilli who practically produced his first ever record titled “I Will Praise You Lord” which had 16 bars of a remixed version of Coolio‘s “Gangsters Paradise”, also drawing inspirations from international inspirational and gospel singers. He was involved with Nigerian Television Authority [NTA] Rising Star [2005] competition and Idols – West Africa [2007].
In 2008, he graduated from the Federal University of Technology Minna, with a B.Tech degree in Library & Information Technology and proceeded for his 1 year National Youth Service in 2009 in the city of Asaba, Delta State where he met and worked with two ace producers by the names Ucproff and Jopee [Black Tunes Studio]. As a singer/songwriter, he is commissioned to represent the mind of the listener passing across positive messages of hope through Contemporary Christian music with an extended mix of mainstream naturally reflecting the issues that we deal with in our day to day lives from “the light” point of view. Lyrics that both inspire and bless at the same time in the genre gospel; he call his style of music Pop/R’n’B with a blend of Soul.
