New talented kid on the block, Houston Grey from South-South Nigeria steps out with these two banging joints, “She’s Burning” which features Drey Beatz and “Turn Me On” as his official debut singles, both produced by Drey Beatz. Signed to Revolution records, Houston Grey is the son of the popular musician, Tony Grey. Currently in South Africa shooting videos for both songs, the budding singer and his team is leaving no stone unturned to be next big thing in Nigeria music scene. | ENJOY!!!

Houston Grey is son and heir to the music gladiator Tony Grey a.k.a “The Ozimba of Africa”. With a striking resemblance of his fathers’, Houston has a strong drive and passion for music like his dad.

Houston started singing from the age of 12 with the children’s choir till he became the choir master of the church’s senior choir. He is a graduate of Geography and Environmental Management, University of Port Harcourt. Nigeria.

At the age of 18, he decided to take his music career more seriously by gaining more experience in the stage craft and the musical instruments. Houston Grey plays the piano, drums and guitar. Music has been part of this young star because of the love he has for it from his early days. Houston has evolved through several Nigerian reality shows [Street 2 Star, Star Quest, Naija Sings, Street Skills, MTN Project Fame and most recently the 2nd season of Nigerian Idol], gaining the necessary experience required to excel in the ever growing music industry.

Houston Grey is a versatile artiste who is well respected by colleagues in the industry for his ability to create and perform excellently in every genre of music. Houston has successfully been able to create a niche for his music. His style of music has a uniqueness that cuts across Hip pop, R&B and Gospel.

2012 started off well with Houston Grey´s signing on to Revolution Records. With the right atmosphere for creativity, Houston is set to write and roll out songs that would keep you wanting more and more.
