Following the demise of his father, A-Q has had to keep a low profile, taking time to restructure his Hustle Inc. label and strategy; he is back with a new track and video titled “Bang“! Something very different from his original sound, the track contains cleared samples from Femi Kuti’s 1995 original classic, “Beng Beng Beng“.
Just after the high-flying rapper A-Q secured license to sample the Afro-Beat track and instrumentation from the family of the legendary Kuti family [making Femi Kuti a co-owner of the song], he went on set with Mr. AK-One to deliver the visuals for this new single; the Afro-Beat meet Rap musical back-drop is a masterpiece.
This combination provides nothing but beautiful music to groove to. “Bang” was produced by Beats By Jayy and the wonderfully put together video which would drop soon, with a premiere event next week Wednesday at the Get Arena venue of the Industry Nite, was directed by Mr. AK-One and styled by Afolabi.
